        Directions:        

Leave Exeter on the Plymouth road, (M5 soon becomes A38).  After about 10 miles, at the Drumbridges  roundabout take slip road signed Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey.  Take 4^th. exit from roundabout and continue for about a mile along a very straight road to the next roundabout. Take the second exit to the next roundabout. Take the first exit signposted Manaton.

 As you enter Manaton you will pass the Kestor inn on your RHS. You are then exactly 3.3 miles from the lane leading to Vogwell Cottage. Carry on past the Kestor Inn and stay on the same very winding road always following the Moreton Hampstead sign posts,  At Heatree Cross there is a stop sign, turn right still heading for Moretonhampstead.

 After about a mile (3.3 from the Kestor), you will come to a rather hidden turning to the left.  This is the second turning on the left after the stop sign and leads to Vogwell Cottage.
